Exfoliate · Purify · Renew
Centuries of exfoliation, woven into a single object.
A traditional Amazigh tool. Gently exfoliates, purifies, and renews the skin, revealing a smoother, softer and visibly radiant complexion, exactly as it has been done for generations.

One glove. Six reasons.
From dead-skin removal to a deeper hammam ritual, the Kessa is the tool that unlocks every other step in your routine.
Removes Dead Skin
Effectively removes accumulated dead skin layers, leaving the skin instantly smoother and softer.
Reveals Natural Glow
Eliminates dullness and reveals a brighter, more radiant complexion, the signature hammam glow.
Stimulates Renewal
Activates the natural skin renewal process. Fresher, more youthful-looking skin with every ritual.
Improves Absorption
Removes the barrier of dead skin so oils and serums penetrate deeper, working harder for you.
Refines Texture
Smooths uneven areas and reduces rough patches, perfect for arms, legs, and back.
Deep Cleansing
Removes impurities and cleanses deeper than regular washing, a true detox for the skin.

Made for every contour.
The Kessa is a body tool. Work it over the areas that need it most — long sweeps on the limbs, gentle circles on rougher patches.

The oldest beauty tool, still the best.
Centuries of skin renewal, in your hand.
The Kessa is the simplest object in the Amazigh hammam, and the most powerful. Generations of women have used it to exfoliate, refresh, and prepare the skin to receive the oils and waters that follow.
Our Kessa is woven from natural fibres by Amazigh artisans in Morocco, the same way it has been made for as long as anyone remembers.
Amazigh Heritage, Naturally Beautiful.
How to Use
The kessa is best after warm water and black soap, when the skin is softened and ready to renew. Add a photo per step in the editor to bring the ritual to life.
Cleanse
Begin with the Argan Black Soap Elixir on warm, damp skin. Let it soften the surface for a few minutes.
Wet
Soak the kessa in warm water before each use.
Exfoliate
Massage in slow, circular motions over the body. Firm but never harsh.
Hydrate
Rinse, pat dry, and seal with your favourite oil or elixir. Skin will glow.

Everything you'd want to know about the most-loved tool in the hammam.
-
How often should I use the Kessa?
1–2 times per week. Daily exfoliation is too aggressive and can disrupt your skin barrier.
-
Does it hurt?
No, when used correctly, exfoliation should feel firm but never painful. If it feels sharp, ease the pressure and check that the skin is properly softened first with our Black Soap.
-
How long does one Kessa last?
3–4 months with weekly use. Replace when the fibres begin to soften and lose their exfoliating texture.
-
How do I care for it?
Rinse thoroughly after every use and hang to dry. Machine wash at 30°C every 2–3 weeks to keep it fresh.
-
Can I use it on my face?
The Kessa is designed for the body, the face needs gentler care. For the face, use our Nila Radiance Elixir as a weekly purifying ritual.
-
What's it made of?
Durable natural fibres, hand-woven by Amazigh artisans in Morocco, the same craft passed down for generations.
